 Q. What are the grips made from and how are they made?

A: Our grips are made from polyurethane and are molded and finished by hand. We use a very tough material that gives magnificant detail, looks and feels like the original and has no shrinkage factor.
Our in- house molding process assures that the back of the product as well as the front has no air bubbles. we re-work our molds regularly to insure the finest quality.

Q: Will my Grips need fitting to my Firearm?

A: We have done everything possible to make our "classic" Fit without any additional fitting. However some of the older Colt Single Actions are oversized and will require additional Fitting. This is common with 1st Generation Colts

Q: What Frame is my Smith and Wesson Revolver Built On?

A:Smith and Wesson Basically has four differnt Frame sizes which the revolvers are built on.
The Smallest of the Frames are "J" frames
The Medium built Frames are the "K" and the "L" Frames. (Both these frames will accept the Same Grips)
The Largest of the Frames is the "N" Frame

With each of these frames Smith and Wesson used two Different Backstraps. These are refered to as "Round" or "Square" Butt.
This can easily be determined by the curvature of the Grip.

The Table Below gives Model Designation for each frame Variation.
