Ruger Revolver Grips
The Ruger Old Model Vaquero,Single Six & Blackhawk Revolvers are refered to as the "Three" Screw model as the Frames have screws instead of Pins. This model will be refered to as the XR3-Old Model
The Ruger Vaquero made from 1972-2004 is refered to as the XR3-RED Model. The is easily determined as XR3-RED is stamped in the grip frame under the grips.
The Ruger New Vaquero 2005 XR3 was introduced in 2005.This is known as the 50th Anniversary Model. This model has a backstrap different than the previous two versions.This is refered to as Ruger Vaquero New Model 2005, 50th Anniversary.
